Individuals with disabilities are often entitled to government or employer benefits to assist them to live their life as fully as individuals without disabilities. Depending on the situation these benefits can include monetary payments, or equipment or employment conditions that accommodate the person with disabilities.  Recent changes in the law have expanded the range of disabilities for employment situations.

I work with people with disabilities to help them obtain disability benefits.  Before coming to see me, many people with disabilities feel they  have no control over what is happening to them.  I encourage my clients to be active participants in their benefits application process.  This can reduce their legal costs and more importantly facilitates people with disabilities to begin to take bake control of their lives.
